Sustained winds of 50 mph with gusts reaching 75 mph blew through southwestern Ohio bringing down trees, fences and overhead utility lines as the edge of Tropical Storm Ike passed through the Miami Valley Sunday, 14 September 2008. Many neighborhoods and businesses lost power.
